Janes Family Foods is a Canadian success story in the retail and food service sectors of frozen products. The company was founded in 1969 by Lem Janes Sr., a pioneer of frozen food technology in Canada.
Today the company employs more than 300 people in two Canadian-Food-Inspection-Agency-approved manufacturing facilities in the Greater Toronto Area. Janes provides Canadian consumers from coast-to-coast with a variety of MSC-certified frozen seafood products, as well as frozen chicken products through retail outlets. It also supplies frozen seafood & chicken products for the food service industry, including hotels, restaurants, hospitals and school cafeterias.
